President to deliver New Year Message at 7pm

President John Dramani Mahama will at 7pm today, December 31, 2014 deliver his New Year Message to the people of Ghana via Ghana Television (GTV).

The president is expected to use his message to assure Ghanaians that 2015 will be a good year and steps his government is taking to improve on electricity supply, the ailing Cedi among other challenging issues.

Shortly after the New Year Message, the President will at 10pm join Bishop Charles Agyin-Asare and his Perez Chapel Congregation at the Dzorwulu Junction in Accra for a watch night service to usher in the New Year, 2015.

A statement from the Flagstaff House – the seat of government – added: “Wishing you all a Happy & Transformative New Year.”
