Mr. Paul Evans Aidoo, Western Regional Minister, on Monday presented 50 bags of rice and 50 bags of sugar to Ahmadis, Al-Sunna and Tijania Muslims in Sekondi-Takoradi for the Ramadan Festival on behalf of the President, Regional Coordinating Council and the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly.
Sheikh Ustaz Ali Hassan Ali, Regional Chief Imam, received the items on behalf of the three Muslim communities. Mr. Aidoo said the donation was to show solidarity with Muslims during the Ramadan and the Ramadan Festival.
Sheikh Ali thanked the President, Regional Coordinating Council and the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly for this kind gesture. Present were Mr. Alfred Ekow Gyan, Deputy Regional Minister and Captain Anthony Cudjoe (Rtd), Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Chief Executive
