President nominates persons for appointment as DCEs

Accra, June 11, GNA- President John Agyekum Kufuor has nominated persons for appointment as Chief Executives (DCEs) to some Districts.

A statement signed by Mr Kwadwo Mpiani, Chief of Staff and Minister of Presidential Affairs, named them as Alhaji Isak Abuba Kar Bosu and Kofi George Yaw Boakye for Asunafo North and Asunafo South districts respectively. The others were Opoku Pepra for Asutifi, Cassius Osei-Poku for Atebubu-Amantim, Kwabena Kyere Yuboa for Berekum, Elizabeth Oba for Jaman North, Apraku Tanoh for Jaman South and Awudulai Razark and Yaw Adjei Duffour for Kintampo North and Kintampo South respectively. The rest are James Appiah-Awuah for Nkoranza, Alhaji Gariba Iddrisu for Pru, Cynthia Titriku-Dnaso for Sene, Nicholas Anane Adjei for Tano North and Bintu Ibrahim Farizana for Wenchi, Kwame Twumasi Awuah for Sunyani and Prince Yaw Donyina for Techiman,

The President also nominated Elizabeth Forgor Slamatu for Bole, Elizabeth Pigit Poyari, for Bunkpurugu, Yakubu Zakari for Central Gonja, Abudu Amadu Musa for East Gonja and Peter Wuni for East Mamprusi. Additionally, Mahama Abukari has been nominated for Gushieegu, Baba Wahab, for Koranga, Salifu Saeed for Nanumba North and Thomas Donkor Ugaja for Nanumba South.

Others were Azumah Namoro Sanda for Saboba-Chereponi, James Kipo Suhenzi for Sawia-Tuna-Kalba, Walab Suhyini Wumbei for Tolon-Kumgbunga, Mohammed Habibu Tijanin for Yendi, Alhaji Yakubu Bukari, Zabzugu-Tatale and Alhaji Iddrisu Adam, Tamale Municipality. The rest are Justine Bayelah Dnakurah for Jirapa Lambussie district, George Yasaame Sulley for Lawra, Wing Commander Eric Dakura for Nadowli and Solomon Salia Mwengu for Sissala.
