Accra, March 20, GNA- President John Evans Atta-Mills has nominated Captain Anthony R. Cudjoe (Rtd) as the Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE) for the Sekondi-Takoradi. He would be replacing Mr. Kobina Pra Annan. The nomination is in line with Section 243 (1) of the 1992 Constitution and Act 462 Section 20(1) of the Local Government Act 1993.
Mr. Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, Deputy Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, in a press release on Sunday, said President Mills had also directed the Minister of Local Government and Rural Development to order a forensic audit into the finances of the assembly between 2009 and 2011. 20 March 11
