Accra, July 26, GNA – President John Evans Atta Mills on Tuesday nominated Municipal/District Chief Executives for Hohoe and Ahanta West Assemblies.
A statement in Accra signed by Mr Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, Minister for Local Government and Rural Development, said Dr Margaret Kweku has been nominated as Municipal Chief Executives of Hohoe Assembly while Mr Joseph Dofoyenah has been nominated as District Chief Executive of Ahanta West District Assembly.
Their nominations are in line with Section 234 (1) of the 1992 Constitution and Section 20 (1) of the Local Government Act 1993, Act 462.
