Accra, July 13, GNA – President John Evans Atta Mills will attend the XV Non Aligned Movement meeting in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, this week, a statement signed in Accra on Monday by Mr Mahama Ayariga, Presidential Spokesperson, said.
It said President Mills would therefore be absent from Ghana from Tuesday, July 14 to Friday July 17, for the Summit. The statement said the general debate would focus on the issue of international solidarity for peace and development and the current global economic and financial crisis.
It added that other activities at the meeting would include the election of the Bureau, admission of new members and the presentation of the report on the VIX Non-Aligned Movement Summit. 13 June 09
