President Mills – RIP

*PRESIDENT MILLS REST IN PEACE*

In this grave period, perhaps the darkest and most challenging in the history of Ghana’s democratic governance, the country has been hit hard with the sudden death of our finest statesman, His Excellency John Evans Atta-Mills.

Members of the Alliance for Accountable Governance (AFAG) filled with deep pain, shares with the people of Ghana, home and abroad, the depth of pain crossing our hearts in this difficult time. AFAG, sharing in this time of grief, have responded accordingly to the one week call by President John Mahama for national mourning.

AFAG over and over again, have refrained from commenting on issues that pertained to the health of our late president. However, in this painful situation that we all find ourselves, AFAG has a voice and if God wills, we will make it known after the national week of mourning.

May the God Lord hold and keep our former first lady, and family. “Madam, Ghanaians both home and abroad are united behind you and it’s our prayer that you remain calm and firm for the good Lord is in control.”

May our Lord hold and keep us all both home and abroad.

President Mills we salute you! May your soul rest in perfect peace
