President Mills recalls, retires Ghana’s Ambassador to Brazil

Accra, Oct. 22, GNA – President John Evans Atta Mills has with immediate effect recalled Mr Samuel Kofi Dadey, Ghana’s Ambassador to Brazil, following allegations of sexual misconduct made against him, a Foreign Affairs Ministry Source said on Friday. The President has also retired him with immediate effect, the Source added.

The Source explained that the President’s decision follows allegations of sexual harassment made against him by an employee of the Embassy.

Helen Adewonuola, 40, a Former Private Secretary of Ambassador Dadey, alleged he forced her to have sex four times with him to protect her job.

Mr Dadey has denied the claim of the Former Employee, saying the complaint was a fall out from his decision to change her schedule. 22 Oct. 10
