President Mills leaves for Abuja

Accra, Jan. 10, GNA – President John Evans Atta Mills, left Accra this morning for a two-day visit to Abuja to attend a special ECOWAS Summit on the political situation in Guinea.

The summit would review the political situation in the Sub-Region, and discuss measures to help strengthen social, political and economic integration.

President Mills was seen off by Vice President, John Mahama, senior government officials, Chief of Defence Staff, Lt-Gen. J.B. Danquah and Inspector General of Police, Patrick Kwarteng Acheampong. Accompanied by Mr Mahama Ayariga, Presidential Spokesperson and some senior government officials, President Mills is expected back tomorrow.
