President Mills Gives Thumbs Up To Traders

President John Evans Atta Mills has commended market women and Ghanaian traders in general for their hardwork and enormous contribution to the economy.

He gave them thumbs-up for their collaboration with government to achieve successes in the economy, and promised that government would never abandon them. “We know what good works you have done, and are doing; the NDC still cares for you and will support you,” he said.

President Mills made the commendation when interacting with traders at Agbogbloshie market in Accra on Wednesday , to assure them of government’s support in their endeavours.

He was accompanied by government officials and some Ministers of State including Nii Laryea Afotey-Agbo, Greater Accra Regional Minister, and Mr Albert Oko Vanderpuije, Mayor of Accra.
