President Mills attends 28th AU summit in Ethiopia

Accra, Jan 27, GNA – President John Evans Atta Mills would on Friday January 28, attend the 28th Summit of Head of States and Governments in Ethiopia.

This was the content of a letter from the Presidency notifying Parliament about the trip.

According to the Speaker, Mrs Joyce Bamford -Addo who read the letter to the House, the President would be back on Tuesday February 1.

The letter indicated that in accordance with article 60/8 of the 1992 Constitution Vice President John Dramani Mahama would assume the Presidential throne in his stead.
