President makes nomination for four deputy ministers

Accra, Feb 22, GNA – President John Atta Mills on Tuesday nominated the three persons for deputy ministerial positions.

A letter from the Presidency sent to Parliament and read by the Speaker, Mrs Justice Joyce Bamford Addo, named them Mr Atuquaye Armah for the Ministry of Communication, Mad M. S. Emelia Auther, for Western Region, Mr Aquinas Quansah, for Local Government and Rural Development and Mr Ebenezer Okletey, for the Eastern Region.

She refereed the nomination to the Appointment Committee for the necessary actions.
