President Mahama leaves for London

President John Dramani Mahama left Accra on Thursday night for London to attend the launch of a foundation for former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo.

Mr. Mahama is attending the launch together with other colleague heads of state from Nigeria, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Senegal.

A statement signed by Presidential Spokesperson, John Abdulai Jinapor, said President Mahama will also take part in a panel discussion on Advancing Human Security for all as part of the launch.

Also billed to be attended by the Ghanaian President is an investment discussion that will involve various European private sector players and analysts.

The statement noted that President Mahama will return to Accra on Sunday February 10, 2013 after engaging some sections of the European media to further promote Ghana as the political and business destination in Africa.
