The Jaman South Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Siata Watara, has lavished praise upon President John Dramani Mahama for the decisive actions implemented during his six months of commendable governance, which have brought relief to the citizens of Ghana and fostered the nation’s development.
At the Jaman South Municipal Assembly’s observance of the National Day of Prayers and Thanksgiving service yesterday, the MCE underscored that President Mahama’s re-election is a testament to the exemplary leadership he demonstrated during his first term as Ghana’s president.
She remarked that the president’s judicious measures have led to the appreciation of the cedi against major global currencies, ensured food security especially in Jaman South Municipality, brought about a reduction in fuel prices, and decreased the cost of goods and services, among other benefits, an auspicious indication of the effective governance under President John Dramani Mahama’s second tenure.
Rev. John Addai Boateng, the Parish Priest of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Drobo, underscored the importance of conducting our affairs with integrity to nurture growth and development in our lives. He reiterated that all humans are fallible, and therefore, we should refrain from passing judgment on others for their transgressions. Instead, we should strive to collaborate in rectifying our own errors to promote national unity and progress.
