President Kufuor returns home from UK trip

Accra, Feb. 13, GNA – Former President John Agyekum Kufuor returned home last Sunday night after a week-long visit to London, United Kingdom.

A statement issued in Accra on Monday by Mr Frank Agyekum, Spokesperson Office of Former President Kufuor said during the visit he met former Primer Minister Gordon Brown, senior government officials and Members of Parliament.

President Kufuor also interacted with the Pro-Rector and senior staff of Imperial College and Executives of the Partnership for Child Develpment, an interntional non-governmental organisation.

Prime Minister Brown invited President Kufuor to serve on the board of his Foundation, which is aimed at expanding access to education to deprived communities in the world.
