President Kufuor re-elected ECOWAS Chairman

Accra, Dec. 19, GNA – President John Agyekum Kufuor was on Friday re-elected Chairman of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) for another one year term.

President Kufuor was re-elected at the on-going 27th Ordinary Summit of the Authority of ECOWAS Heads of State and Government in Accra.

He was elected for the first time last December at the 26th Ordinary Summit of the Authority of ECOWAS Heads of State and Government held in Dakar, Senegal.
