President Kufuor on state visit to Mali

Accra, Dec.11, GNA – President John Agyekum Kufuor left Accra on Monday morning for a three-day State visit to Mali.

The visit would take him to the Malian northern city of Gao, the business district of Mopti and the capital Bamako.

President Kufuor would hold talks with his Malian counterpart, President Amadou Toumani Toure, meet with other Malian Government Officials as well as the Ghanaian Community in Bamako.

The two Presidents are expected to exchange gifts and national honours and sign a joint communiqu=E9 at the end of the visit. President Kufuor is expected back home on Wednesday, December 13, 2006.
