President Kufuor begins tour of Central Region

Senya Beraku (C/R) Aug. 10 GNA – President John Agyekum Kufuor on Wednesday arrived at Senya Beraku in the Awutu-Effutu-Senya District to begin five-day tour of the Central Region.

This is his first Regional tour since he began his second tenure of office.

A programme drawn for the tour include addressing durbars of chiefs and people and inspecting and inaugurating some development projects. President Kufuor would address the Central Regional House of chiefs and attend a non-denominational church service at the Victoria Park at Cape Coast on Sunday.

Some of the towns, President Kufuor would visit are Senya Beraku; Agona Duakwa; Agona Abodom; Ekumfi Essushyia; Gomoa Eshiem; Enyan Abaasa and Gomoa Afransi.

The rest are Eguafo, Abakrampa, Saltpond and Brakwa.
