President Kufuor arrives from Niger

President John Agyekum Kufuor arrived in Bolgatanga in the Upper-East region today (Saturday), after attending the two-day Fifth Conference of Heads of State of Sahel-Saharan States in Niami, Niger.

Ghana attended the conference as an observer and briefed the delegates on efforts to restore peace to Cote D’ivoire.

President Kufuor arrived in Bolgatanga, enroute to Navrongo to attend the burial and funeral rites of the late Mr John Setuni Achuliwor, NPP Member of Parliament for Navrongo Central and Deputy Minister of Communications and Technology.
