President brings Northern Region tour on Wednesday

Accra, April 26, GNA – President John Evans Atta Mills leaves for the Northern Region on Wednesday, April 27, to begin a four-day working visit, an official statement issued in Accra on Tuesday said. The statement signed by Mr Koku Anyidoho, Head of Communications at the Presidency, said as part of his itinerary, the President would inspect on-going projects, inaugurate completed projects and cut the sod for new projects to commence.

It said the President would be in Tamale, Yendi, Zabzugu, Saboba, Damongo, Fufulso, Savelugu and Nalerigu.

The statement said the visit of the President to the Region, would be ending Phase 1 of his nationwide working visits. Phase 2 would begin in the Eastern Region in the first week of May.
