Presidency develops website

Accra, April 15, GNA – A website, www.ghanacastle.gov.gh. has been developed for the presidency as a portal for increased interaction between the presidency and the citizenry, a statement from the Office of the President announced on Thursday.

The statement signed by Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, Press Secretary to the President and Presidential spokesman said the website would also offer round-the-clock updates on the activities of the President as he conducts the affairs of state.

Features of the website include sections which offer biological information on the President and access to his latest speeches and memorable photographs, among other documents.

The statement said the website is structured to ensure high level of interactivity by allowing suggestions, comments, and enquiries to be channelled to the presidency through the e-mail address: [email protected]. The President can also be emailed on [email protected].

Online press briefing sessions between the media and the Press Secretary to the President via the website will be activated shortly, the statement said, adding that in the interim, media enquiries could be channelled to the Press Secretary through: [email protected].
