Presbyterian Relief Service supports Ghana Health Services

The Presbyterian Relief Service and Development (PRSD), a non-governmental organization of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, has donated relief items to the Ga South Municipal Health Directorate.

The items included 200 mosquito nets, 50 blankets, three boxes of key soap, 32 bed sheets, 90 liquid soap and three bales of used clothing.

Making the presentation, the Chief Executive Officer of the Services, Rev Daniel Edmund Kofi Asante, said the items were for cholera patients who had been admitted in health facilities in the Municipality.

Receiving the items on behalf of the health centres the Ga South Municipal Director of Health Services, Ms Jacqueline Sfarijlani, expressed appreciation and appealed to other churches and organizations to follow the Presbyterian Church’s example.
