Presbyterian Education Unit cuts sod for office project

Tamale, May 24, GNA – The Presbyterian Education Unit in the Tamale Metropolis on Sunday cut sod to commence work on a 43-million-cedi office project at Tamale.

The Regional Manager of Presbyterian Education Unit, Mr Abako Amdi said Okonomos Foundation in Netherlands donated 205 million cedis to the Unit out of which the project would be funded.

He said 162 million cedis had been used to purchase a Toyota pick up for official use.

The Regional Manager called on members of the community to support the contractor to enable him to complete the project on schedule. Mr Philip Issahaku, Deputy Metropolitan Director of Education commended Okonomos Foundation for supporting education in the metropolis.
