Premix Fuel supply to Manford area to resume next month

Manford (C/R), Aug. 24, GNA- Premix Fuel supply to Manford and its surroundings, which was suspended sometime ago following financial mismanagement by the committee responsible for the sale of the product would resume soon.

This followed the appointment of a seven-member Interim Management Committee to supervise the collection and sale of the product until such time that a permanent committee would be formed.

The Central Regional Coordinator on Premix fuel, Alhaji Mustapher Mahammed said this on Tuesday, when he presented two 1,500 gallons capacity tanks to the committee at Manford.

Alhaji Mahammed said Ghana Oil Company (GOIL) has refused to supply premix fuel to the former committee, because it owed the company a total of about 40 million cedis in respect of premix fuel it supplied to the fishermen.
