Pregnant women ordered to bring their own water to clinic

Patients and health workers of Amanase Clinic in the Ayensuano District of the Eastern Region are crying out to the government to as a matter of urgency provide them with toilets and potable water.

In an exclusive interview with Maame Akosua, Atinka News Eastern Regional reporter, Madam Sarah Asamgba who is in charge of the clinic, lamented that the clinic lacks toilets facilities and potable water adding that the unfortunate situation does not promote good health.

She stated that pregnant women come to the clinic with their own water when they are about to deliver because there is no potable water within the vicinity.

Describing the issue as heartbreaking, she passionately appealed for support for the facility to save babies.

Patients who interacted with Atinka FM recounted their troubles when seeking health care at the Clinic.
