Pratt is being paid to do NDC’s bidding – Attafuah

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) does not consult Mr. Kwesi Pratt Jnr. before making any decision, especially when it comes to electing people to lead the party.

Therefore, this makes the National Organizer for the NPP, Mr. Attafuah Danso, wonder where the managing editor of the Insight Newspaper solicits his information from.

Last Saturday, Mr. Pratt made an emphatic statement on Radio Gold’s Alhaji and Alhaji political talk show, where he claimed that from his knowledge, he knows for certain that Nana Akufo-Addo would lead the NPP in 2016 because he is the most popular presidential candidate. According to him, “it is very very clear to me that Nana will run”.

Although Mr. Pratt might be basing his accretions on calls by certain kingpins of the NPP who have promised to do all they can to make sure Nana Addo leads them in 2016, Mr. Attafuah-Danso wonders why Mr. Pratt always want to poke his nose into matters of the NPP which doesn’t concern him.

He noted that it is evident Mr. Pratt is getting paid by the National Democratic Congress to do their bidding. “Kwesi Pratt happens to be a democrat by accident”, he said.

Instead of talking on behalf of the NPP, Mr. Attafuah-Danso advised Mr. Pratt to use his popularity to restore the image of the Convention Peoples’ Party which was becoming unpopular among voters.

In an interview with Peacefmonline, Mr. Attafuah wondered why matters concerning who leads the NPP spikes Mr. Pratt.

He concluded that Nana Addo has not disclosed to anyone he would lead the party in 2016. If he wishes to lead the party in 2016, so be it; but maintained that the party would create room for others to enter the presidential contest if they wanted to test the waters.
