Praso Presbyterian Church celebrates 40th anniversary

Twifo Praso (C/R), Aug 15, GNA – The Twifo Praso branch of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana has celebrated its 40th anniversary. The occasion, which was marked with Bible talks, evangelism, fund-raising, clean-up campaigns and honouring of outstanding past and present church members, was also used to lay the foundation stone of 250 million-cedi manse for the church.

Rev Joseph Anang Obodai, the Chairman of the Western Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana who performed the ceremony, appealed to Christians whose focus is only on material things to seek the word of God and have confidence and faith in God.

Mr Yaw Agyebi-Kessie, the Twifo-Heman-Denkyira District Chief Executive, paid tribute to the founding fathers of the church and appealed to the members to follow their shining examples. He appealed to the people in the district to register with the National Health Insurance Scheme.
