PPP will not contest Abuakwa North by-election

The Progressive People’s Party (PPP) has taken a decision not to contest in the up-coming Abuakwa North constituency by- election.

The ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) yesterday Wednesday also chickened out of the race.

The Member of Parliament (MP) for the constituency Joseph Boakye Danquah Adu was murdered in cold bold in his residence at Shiashie in Accra some weeks ago.

PPP WILL NOT CONTEST THE ABUAKWA NORTH BY-ELECTION

The National Committee (NC) of the Progressive People’s Party on February 24, 2016 decided to not to contest the by-election in Abuakwa North which is scheduled for March 29 this year.

We call upon our constituency executives to go ahead with our strategy of organizing at the polling station level to ensure victory come November 7, 2016.

Until then, let the sun shine bright on the people of Abuakwa North and let them keep AWAKE!
