PPP rolls out ‘Positive Disturbance’ concept

The third force in Ghanaian politics, the Progressive People’s Party (PPP) last week begun an innovation in the body politic of Ghana named ‘Positive Disturbance.’

Officials of the party who spoke to this reporter explained that Positive Disturbance was mooted to send the PPP message to every nook and cranny through its campaign vans.

The vans parade the streets of the country with specific messages for each week. The Positive Disturbance train last week focused on corruption disclosing corrupt practices ongoing in the country.

The Positive Disturbance crew noted that the first week of this novelty was met with thunderous applause as activities ground to a halt at every area that heard the message.

They argue that they focused on corruption because it had become a canker that had eaten into the very fabric of the Ghanaian society.

They argue that Ghana is endowed with such great resources and wondered why the NDC and the NPP who have superintended over our resources for decades now have done with such vast resources.

The officials contend that with the PPP focusing on issue based campaigns it believed the issue of corruption was fertile grounds to win votes from.

They contend that the PPP, led by Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom, knowing perfectly well about this corruption canker are offering incorruptible leadership.

The party officers disclosed that the party’s video vans will also be plying the streets of Adenta to Kwame Nkrumah Circle, Kasoa to Agbogbloshie market, Tema to Accra and from Amasaman to Kwame Nkrumah Circle.
