PPP Press Release

Press Release

Contrary to the story put out by the Daily Guide that Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom and the Progressive People’s Party (PPP) have joined the NPP to boycott today’s presidential inauguration, we wish to inform the general public that Dr. Nduom left Ghana before Christmas to attend to the birth of two grandsons in the United States, which happy events, occurred before the New Year.

We wish to state that Dr. Nduom is still in the United States and is scheduled to attend the Board Meeting of the International Institute of Sustainable Development before returning to Ghana later in the month.

The PPP chose a path of advocating reforms to improve the electoral process and strengthen the Electoral Commission. These are honourable objectives the party will continue to pursue.
