Mr Joel Apambilla Kasim, the Progress Peoples Party (PPP) Parliamentary Candidate for the Zebilla Constituency, has pledged to give priority focus to the youth who venture into agriculture.

Mr Kasim, 37, a graduate in Actuarial Science, said he was committed to see more youth into the agricultural sector because it is the only area with more job vacancies.

Mr Kasim spoke in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Zebilla and called on the constituents to vote for him in the coming general elections to represent them and help articulate their development concerns.

He said when elected, he would institute various schemes in the educational, health, and agriculture sectors, among others to promote the general socio-economic lives of the people in the constituency.

Mr Kasim said he would also use sixty percent of his common fund to institute an educational endowment fund to provide scholarships for brilliant and needy students from the primary to tertiary level.
