PPAG building social facilities for Sunyani municipality

Sunyani, Sept. 23 GNA – The Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana (PPAG) is undertaking a multi-million cedis project to provide health and educational centre to the youth in the Sunyani municipality. Mr. Amos Adu Okyere, the project coordinator, told the Ghana News Agency that the project, which is located in Sunyani, is expected to be complete in November this year.

The centre would house a library, clinic and games facilities, he said, adding that its focus would be to educate the youth on sexual reproductive health, life planning and skill training to make them become self-sufficient.

The target beneficiary groups include street children, teenage mothers and school dropouts.

Mr Okyere said the time had come for society to find more effective ways of ensuring proper character building and development among the youth.
