Netizens of Ejisu Municipal in Ashanti Region has poured out their frustrations to the media on the issue of frequent power shortage occurrences in their community.
According to most of the citizens in Ejisu, there had been a frequency in the power shortage recently which has been very disturbing to them, because most of the businesses there uses electricity in operating it.
Moreover, due to the analysis we made, it was discovered that when there is a fault, for example a falling of electricity pole(s) due to a heavy rainfall, instead of it being worked on immediately, the ECG Company can wait for like 3 days before repairing the damage. As a results of that, water also becomes very scarce in Ejisu since they all use electricity to pump the water, it also pauses most businesses especially those without generators and this slows them down financially.
Lastly, after communicating with some of the citizens, they’re pleading with the government to come to their aid and resolve this issue for them so that they can always work and earn money for themselves.
