Poultry farmer gets five million cedis loan for his burnt farm

Kukuom (B/A), Aug. 24, GNA- The Ahafo Community Bank has provided five million cedis as loan to Mr Adom Baah, a poultry farmer at Sankore in Asunafo South District whose farm was destroyed by fire last year.

Mr Baah set up the project with two million cedis loan from the bank but the fire killed all but 30 of the 500 birds. Presenting the cheque at the inauguration of the new Asunafo South District Assembly at Kukuom, Mr George Boakye, the District Chief Executive, commended the courage of the farmer and urged the youth to emulate him.

Mr Baah thanked the bank for making it possible for him to resuscitate his project.
