Politicians urged to give priority to welfare of constituents- Moderator

Agona Nsaba, (C/R), Nov. 21, GNA- The Rt. Rev Professor Emmanuel Martey, Moderator of the General Assembly of Presbyterian Church of Ghana, has called on politicians not only to seek for votes from the electorate but to seek their welfare as well.

He said the practise where some politicians after seeking the support of their electorate to win power, failed to visit the people was not the best.

Rt. Rev Prof Martey said these when delivering a sermon at a ceremony during which Reverend Samuel Eric Ampiaw, newly appointed Chairperson of Central Presbytery at the Ebenezer Congregation at Agona Nsaba in the Central Region was inducted into office on Sunday.
