The study which was extensively carried out in all 275 constituencies involved 7, 435 people from all sections of professions with people within the voting age.

The survey sponsored by the European Union indicated that, education, health and employment has been the expectation of the majority of Ghanaians, but these have not been addressed, to the disappointment of many voters.

The Deputy Commissioner of the NCCE, Samuel Akuamoah told Nyankonton Mu Nsem that, most of the campaign messages are not the real needs of the people and this can cause apathy in the voting trends. He was unhappy with increasing number of rejected ballot papers.
