Politicians advised to stick to tents of God

Koforidua, Aug. 17, GNA-The outgoing Presenter of the Koforidua St. Peter’s Anglican Cathedral, Rev. Father Eding Sam Padi has reminded politicians in the country that they could not win elections if they had not been anointed by God.

He therefore advised them to stop seeking support of shrines and other spiritual mediums that involved the practice of rituals and acts that could lead to the killing of their fellow human beings to offer their blood and parts to those shrines.

Rev. Fr. Padi was delivering the sermon on Sunday at the thanksgiving service organized to close the 10th National Delegates Conference of the Guild of Servants of the Sanctuary of the Anglican Church of Ghana which was organized at Koforidua under the theme; “Election 2008, let us seek the face of God”.

The four-days conference was attended by 120 delegates from all the Dioceses of the Anglican Church in the country and elected a new five-member national executive for the Association of Guild of Servants of the Sanctuary of the Anglican Church with Nana Boateng
