Politicians advised not to disintegrate Ghana

Essienimpong (Ash), April 7, GNA- Nana Kwaku Bio, chief of Essienimpong in the Ejisu-Juaben District of Ashanti, has advised politicians against disintegrating the country through their activities.

He expressed worry that some politicians in the country used insulting words during their electioneering campaigns which could lead to chaos.

Nana Bio, in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Essienimpong at the weekend, said there was the need to preserve the peace and unity of the country. He reminded politicians that the country was greater that any political party and urged them to ensure peace and unity for development.

Nana Bio also advised politicians not to campaign along religious and ethnic lines since that could result in division among the citizenry.
