Tema, Nov. 10, GNA – Seventy-eight thousand, seven hundred and twenty-four children have been immunized in Tema and its environs during this year’s Polio Immunization Exercise, which started from October 27 to October 29. The Tema Metropolistan Health Directorate targeted a population of 70,878 children under five years, which was based on last year’s performance, but it exceeded the target population of about 11.1 per cent, and immunized 78,724 children.
