A policeman only identified as Lance Corporal Ebenezer Okyere in his mid 30s with the Suame Divisional Police Command has shot and killed himself.
It is not immediately known what triggered the cop to take his own life this morning at his private residence at Old Tafo, a suburb of the Kumasi Metropolis.
Alpha Radio’s Andrews Akwaboah who visited the scene, disclosed to mynewsgh.com that the body has been taken to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital by his colleagues who were immediately invited to the scene after the unfortunate incident.
“The body has been taken to the mortuary. No family member is in the position to talk to us but the incident happened at about 7 am this morning”, he disclosed.
