Police: We will deal with recalcitrant NPP supporters

The Police administration has warned that it will deal ruthlessly with persons perpetrating post election violence in Accra and other parts of the country.

The warning follows the string of attacks and reprisal attacks among NDC and NPP supporters.

There have been series of attacks on NDC supporters by supposed NPP supporters after the party rejected the results.

A man in an NDC shirt was reportedly stabbed by NPP supporters at Circle; he is currently receiving treatment at the Hospital.

Director of Police Public Relations DSP Cephas Arthur in an interview with XYZ News said the situation could have been worse if the police had not tightened security.
