Police warn encroachers on its land at Abesim

The Brong Ahafo Regional Police Command has warned residents in the region against encroachment on its land at Abesim near Sunyani.

A statement issued in Sunyani, and signed by Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Christopher Tawiah, Brong Ahafo Regional Police Public Relations Officer (PRO), said some unscrupulous people are destroying Acasia and other tree species on the boundaries of the 250-square-acre land.

The statement warned encroachers who have put up buildings on the land that the structures would be demolished, because the land belongs to the State, and it is earmarked for policing facilities in the Region.
