Police Service complains about the numerous conflicts in Northern Region

Tamale, Nov. 12, GNA- The Northern Regional Police Commander, Mr O.E. Brakatu has expressed concern about the numerous conflicts in the Region, which had led to the loss of lives and property. He said notwithstanding, the security agencies were mapping up strategies to reverse the situation.

Mr Brakatu was addressing representative of the political parties, youth organizations, traditional rulers, and religious leaders at a public forum in Tamale.

He said inadequate flow of information between the security agencies and the general public was a major setback to efforts to find lasting peace in the Region.

Mr Brakatu called for collaborated efforts to combat crime. Participants at the forum pledged their cooperation with the security agencies to promote law and order.
