Police Service begins professional recruitment today

The Ghana Police Service will begin recruiting degree holders and professionals from today, Monday September 5.

The month-long exercise is expected to attract persons in all fields from nursing to auditing to fill various positions in the service.

Director of Public Affairs of the Ghana Police Service, Superintendent Cephas Arthur, told Class News in an interview that: “We are looking for doctors, nurses, lawyers, architects, auditors, engineers, public relations practitioners or officers and the rest. These are the professionals we are looking at but then we are also taking general degree holders for general duties”.

He added that: “Applicants will be required to go and purchase a GHS100 bankers draft and then they will write an application letter and deliver it at any of the three points designated: that is the National police headquarters Accra for the southern part of Ghana, the regional police headquarters, Kumasi, for the middle belt and then the regional police command, Tamale for the Northern belt.”
