Police put a bounty on the cattle rustler’s head

Police at the Eastern regional command have declared a man wanted for rustling 21 cattle.

Forty-five-year-old Mustapha Mohammed Sabutey, known more by his alias ‘Tsukpa’ is suspected to have rustled the cattle herd belonging to colleague herdsmen in Lorlornyo, a farming Community in the Odumase Krobo district.

Public Relations Officer of the Eastern Regional Police Command, ASP Nketia Yeboah confirmed, through a statement, to local Reporter Kojo Ansah that the complainant in the case lodged a report with the Kpong Police station after noticing that 21 of his cattle were missing from the kraal.

The Odumase Krobo Circuit Court has since issued a bench warrant for the arrest of the suspect, who is currently at large.

The Police believe the suspect may be hiding in Eastern, Greater Accra or Volta regions.

A bounty has also been placed on the rustler’s head.
