Police outnumber TAF demonstrators

Just about 30 people turned up at the Truth and Accountability Forum’s demonstration against utility tariff hikes on Thursday.

The march was to also protest against what the group describes as harsh economic conditions.

XYZ News’ Reporter, Osei Owusu Amankwah, who marched along with the demonstrators, reported that Police Officers detailed to offer protection outnumbered the demonstrators.

He says there were about 50 Officers who policed the march on some major streets of the national capital.

Spokesperson for the group, Saaka Salia told Osei Owusu Amankwah he was nonetheless impressed by the turn up.
