Nkwanta (V/R), June 14, GNA – The Nkwanta Police has given Najil Tamamja, 45, a farmer who forcibly took away his daughter and grandchild from her matrimonial home seven days to produce them or face prosecution.

He said Lenke, also a farmer had been married to Tamamja’s daughter for fours years now and were having a two-year-old girl. Mr. Bruku said on May 25, this year at about 11 p.m. Tamamja went to Lenke’s house in his absence, broke the door to his room and packed the belongings of his daughter and took her and her child away. He said Lenke reported the behavior of his father-in-law to the police, who arrested him but was granted bail and asked to produce his daughter and her child in seven days or face prosecution.
