Police on manhunt for NPP violent boys in Sissala

The police in the Sissala West District have assured the public that they will soon apprehend the members of the pro NPP vigilante groups who chased the DCE of the area out of office.

Some unidentified youth in the Sissala west district on Thursday chased the DCE of the area, Hon. Mohammad Bakor following a disagreement over the appointment of the coordinator for Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC) for the district.

The youth claimed that the DCE betrayed their trust by appointing a different person to Coordinate MASLOC instead of their preference based on an agreement they reached with the DCE.

They are therefore demanding the removal of Hon. Muhammad Bakor hence their decision to attack him.

However speaking to Accra based Onua FM, The District Police Commander for Sisala West ASP Gai Raymond stated that anyone linked to the chaos in the office of the DCE will be fished out.

‘’’ I can assure you that all the leaders will be invited for questioning’’ He noted

Meanwhile the District Commander, ASP Gai has confessed that his outfit is understaffed as such he had to fall on the regional headquarters for reinforcement.

“…the appropriate authorities are aware. I can tell you that the Regional Commander is in constant contact with me and if there is problem, he sends me reinforcement. I don’t have rooms currently so I cannot say I need 100 men or something,” he said.
