Police nab two people for possessing missing AK47 rifles

Tamale, Feb. 5, GNA – A swoop by the Bimbilla Police on Friday dawn to unearth the missing of the two AK47 rifles has resulted in the arrest of tw= o persons. They are; Mohammed Bonadoo, 31 and Osman Naatongman, 27 who were arrested at Kpatihi, a suburb of Bimbilla. They have since been sent to Yendi Municipality for further interrogation and prosecution. Chief Inspector Ebenezer Tetteh, Northern Regional Public Relations Officer told the Ghana News Agency that a year ago, two AK47 rifles got missing at the Bichiritanga sector near Bimbilla.
