Police investigates alleged theft at Mankessim market

The Police at Mankessim in the Central Region has started investigating reports of rampant thefts of goods belonging to owners of warehouses and stores in the Mankessim market.

This followed a report by Mrs Juliana Efuah Ansah (also known as Madam A.K. Obroni) to the Police of her stolen “Kako” fish worth GHc3,600 from her warehouse at the Mankessim market sometime last week.

An officer at the Mankessim Police confirmed the stealing in the Mankessim market in an interview with the Ghana News Agency.

The Police has therefore called for cooperation of the public, especially from the market women and other traders to support their efforts by providing information to help them bring the culprits to book.
